Manasvini Vaidyula

Manasvini has over seven years of experience as a climate policy analyst, researching, analyzing, and advising governments and businesses on national and international climate-related issues. Her specialty lies in examining national and sub-national climate and energy policies, carbon pricing schemes, sustainable finance, and decoding the Paris Agreement. She has extensive experience working on international carbon markets (Article 6 of the Paris Agreement) and national target-setting.
Prior to Manifest, Manasvini led the UK government’s COP26 delivery in Canada as the senior climate policy advisor at the British High Commission in Ottawa. Through this role, she engaged in climate diplomacy with federal and provincial governments, trade associations, businesses and financial institutions, and youth and NGOs to meet raise ambition on climate finance, zero emission vehicles, national emission reduction targets and plans, and adaptation and nature-based solutions. She has worked as a policy analyst at the Organization for Co-operation and Economic Development (OECD) and the Institute for Climate Economics (I4CE) in Paris.
Manasvini has a BASc. in industrial engineering with a minor in environmental engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Sustainable Development from HEC Paris. She is also fluent in French.
