Peter Coxford
Climate Strategist
Drawing on his multidisciplinary academic and research background, Peter helps organizations determine where they stand in terms of climate-related disclosure and reporting while also providing context as to how their progress compares to that of their peers.
Peter received his Bachelor of Science studying Geographic Information Science in the Department of Geography and Environment at Western University. He then completed back-to-back Master's degrees in the University of Cambridge's Department of Land Economy and Judge Business School in Environmental Policy and Business and Management, respectively.
Peter's academic work has included extensive research on the Canadian oil industry with a focus on the politics and policy surrounding the building and repurposing of pipelines. Peter has also completed research on the effectiveness of payments for ecosystem services in mitigating risks caused by climate change. In addition to his research pursuits, Peter has also consulted for Shell with a focus on helping to develop and expand their electric vehicle charging network.
