Climate Disclosure and the SEC: Where Should Companies Begin?

April 4th, 2022

On March 21, 2022, the U.S.’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposed a new rule that would require public companies to disclose climate-related information in their periodic SEC filings – including in their annual financial reports.

If passed, the SEC’s proposal will have far-reaching consequences for all companies listed on U.S. exchanges. The new TCFD-aligned rule would require publicly listed companies to report their climate risks and related governance processes, greenhouse gas emissions, climate-related financial metrics, targets, and goals.

Are you uncertain about your next steps? In this webinar, you’ll get best-in-class insights on what the proposed rule means for your business and how the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) can help you navigate it.
